The Basics:
10 years old. Thoroughbred mare. 16 hands. Front Shoes.
Your trainer will love me:
I am a quiet-minded, old soul type. I act more like a gelding and require no lady drugs! I'm not spooky, I love ring riding and trail riding and I try my hardest to be a good girl. I stand tied, trailer great, and I'm the same horse off-property. I am easy to live with and have no vices. I’m already jumping small courses and have an auto lead change. I'll be a really great project type for someone shopping on a budget.
I like to be transparent about:
I struggle picking up my left lead. I try really hard, but my polo years have me preferring my right lead. I'll land the left lead over jumps, and I have an auto flying change; but I still don't love picking it up from the walk or trot.
$6,500
The basics:
2020 home-bred Hanoverian mare. 15.2 hands.
(We purchased her dam (Escudo 1 lines) as an unbroke 3 year old directly from her breeder and started her under saddle. We liked her so much, we decided to breed her to Apiro, and have had a blast bringing Ainslie along.)
Your trainer will love me:
I ride like a super athletic, overgrown pony with a giant step. Don't let my size fool you; I have a massive step and EASILY make it down the lines. My current mom may be biased, but she says I am incredibly smart and SO willing. I have a lofty trot, a cadenced canter, and I'm very bold to the fences. Oh, and I have to brag about how auto my changes are. I trailer easily, I love going off property, and I've gone on many showing, trail riding, and cross country adventures. I have no soundness or health issues. You'll enjoy how straightforward my ride is. I would thrive with a kid or small amateur in a program. I'm very sweet and haven't met another horse or person I don't like. I'm looking for a top notch home.
I like to be transparent about:
I have a funny looking parrot mouth, but it doesn't affect me at all. Regumate helps me stay enjoyable in the barn and under saddle.
$mid fives$
The Basics:
8 year old thoroughbred mare. 15.3 hands. Front shoes.
Your trainer will love me:
I'm the type of thoroughbred everyone wants. I have all the athleticism you could ask for and a lovely cadenced canter that makes you feel like you could jump anything. I'm sound with no health or lameness issues. I've shown a decent amount and even brought my current rider to CHJA finals in the pre-children division last year. New fences don't bother me as I'm quite bold. My changes are almost completely auto. I love trail riding (alone or with others) and hacking out; I'm game for just about anything. I'm sadly only for sale as my current rider has lost interest and will be heading to college soon.
I like to be transparent about:
As I am quite bold, I can get a bit strong so I'm not for a beginner rider.
$20,000
The Basics:
2020 thoroughbred mare. 16.1 hands. Front shoes.
Your trainer will love me:
I'm sweet, I'm adorable, I'm not marish at all, and I would crawl in your pocket if I could. I'm game for anything and take every new adventure in stride (pun intended). I'll happily wtc around the ring and I'm currently jumping 2'-2'6" courses and starting to offer a lead change. I love trail riding and I've been cross country schooling a couple times. I'm so smart and so athletic my current mom thinks I'll be a really cool horse for someone to develop. I have no vices. I'm easy to have around the barn and have no soundness issues.
I like to be transparent about:
I'm just a pretty cool lady. I'm young and green but I try super hard and show a lot of potential.
$12,000
The Basics:
2016 thoroughbred gelding. 16 hands. Front Shoes.
We got Tyger as a 4 year old and he was quiet enough even at that age to be doing beginner lessons. He then found a new home for a couple years where he did a little bit of everything--and was game for all of it! With the kid heading to college, Tyger was back on the market and we happily scooped him up again.
Your trainer will love me:
I have no soundness or health issues. I've already done a bit of everything and I'm ready to go in any direction. I am happy to live in or out, with mares or geldings. I get along with everyone. I'm not spooky, I'm down for anything. I trailer great, I trail ride, and I love to go swimming.
I like to be transparent about:
A recent vetting discovered an old (smooth) bone chip in my left hock. I've never taken a lame step on it, but it is there and my price reflects as much.
$8,500
Flash is an adorable and fancy four year old buckskin pony. We purchased her last year and unbeknownst to us, she was pregnant. After delivering a happy and healthy colt, we put Flash back to work a few months later (so enjoy some adorable video of "Sunny" running and playing with his mom). Barefoot with great feet, Flash has no vices or health issues. She can be a bit shy in her stall and requires someone with a gentle touch. No naughtiness on the ground or under saddle. Flash is a lovely little mare and will make someone very happy. She is sweet and ready to go in any direction.
$9,500
Shelby is a fantastic and fancy pony prospect. She is a four year old papered mustang, but don't let that fool you. Her trot is to die for and her canter is lovely; she is already showing a natural lead change. This little lady is brave and bold, but quite green. We are planning on keeping and developing her further but would consider a sale to a perfect home. Please inquire for more details
