Ransom

Ransom (or Handsome Ransom as we like to call him) came to us as a burnt out show horse. At 18, he had shown all around and had many accolades to his name. However, he started refusing fences with his last lessor. When the lease concluded, Ransom made his way to NMF and we met him for the first time. We let him settle in for a couple days to decompress and then hopped on to see what he was all about. Clearly, Ransom had all the buttons of a fancy hunter; however, he was cranky and sulky--ears pinned, mouth gaping, tail cranking. On top of that, he refused to jump anything, even the smallest of crossrails.
